John Russell

John Russell is an established composer and jazz guitarist based in Cape Town, South Africa.

He started out in the mid-90’s, taking guitar lessons, then slowly working up from gigs to recording sessions to arranging for jazz ensembles and musical theatre, composing and occasional music transcription services.

John composes tracks for a number of clients and continues to work in the field of jazz performance and arrangement.
