Johannes Stolp is a composer and pianist from Berlin Germany. His compositions are rich in haunting, melancholy melodies and atmospheric harmonies.
Playing the piano and singing in choirs from the age of seven, he went on to become the pianist of the Joseph Schmidt Music School’s orchestra and performed in various venues such as Konzerthaus Berlin. During his studies, Johannes founded several bands, which featured on Radio Eins, and played at LIDO, SO36 and other clubs from Berlin to Brisbane.
Alongside recording an album with his band The Valley, he is currently composing pieces for piano and orchestra and his music has provided a backdrop for primetime BBC shows in the UK.
